We have "Glacier Park" shot glasses.
It is an experience. Good food and everything huckleberry.
So many great options to have huckleberry! The pie and milkshake were very good
Had a elk and bison burger that was burnt to a crisp
Lucky for this place its a tourist business, otherwise they'll never survive with their rude and horrible customer service! Went at 9:30 am to order breakfast, but nobody was behind the counter. Ok, so we walked around and found a few souvenirs to purchase. Walked up to the counter and a middle-aged man was sitting on a stool just texting away on his cell phone. Never once looked up. After about 45 seconds, I said to my husband that I didn't think the guy wanted to help us. After waiting about almost 3 minutes with zero acknowledgement, we decided we didn't want their goods, so we left. As we got the the door, the man finally looks up and says can I help you? My husband said no thank you, not now you can't. Absolutely the rudest, unfriendliest customer service I've ever encountered!!
Friendliest people and best dang huckleberry ice cream and shakes around! Stop by and grab some good eats
Do not eat here! One star is for the food. Horrible. Family ate elk and buffalo burgers. Raw thin meat and did not heat buns. Cook did not obviously know how to cook. Place was not busy. We couldn’t stomach ice cream after the burgers, which by the way we only ate a couple bites. Go down the street. There are several other good restaurants right up the road in Hungry Horse.
I ordered a Buffalo burger cooked medium. I stressed to the manager that I didn't want an over cooked burger. I received a burger well done. To top off this meal the toppings were in short supply. No lettuce. I ordered fries but they were out. The manager had to drive to the store and get more. Póor management. I started reading the reviews on this place after I ate. The poor higene comments were concerning to me so I avoided buying any of the huckleberry products.
We always make a point to stop here when we come thru to pick up huckleberry coffee and cherry's always treated with very friendly service!!!
Terrible food, gross milkshakes, the fries had dead bugs in it. The burgers where dry gross i hate it and do not suggest going there AT ALL!!!!!
Great store and service! Tasty treats!
Because the chef is new I'll give two stars, assuming they step up their game in the future. Certainly not Covid compliant. Pie was fantastic. Burgers were disappointing.
Always friendly and great service! A great selection of products!
Everything was amazing except for our burgers were burnt. Cute little place and has great huckleberry products and other merchandise, but I wouldn't recommend getting a burger.
My wife and I were in his store about a week ago and spent almost $100. I asked for a shirt in a medium size and he brought me one from the back since he didn't have one on the rack. I made the mistake and didn't check the size. We just returned home after being gone 15 days and during our unpacking noticed the shirt is an XL instead of the medium we requested. I just called and explained the situation and asked about sending it back, at my expense, and getting the right size. He responded that he had been on his feet for almost 12 hours today and doesn't have time to run to the post office. We will just give the XL to the teenage girl and tell her to sleep in it or something. But it was not a very good customer service experience. I imagine his seasonal business is extremely busy and he can afford to be rude to one out of state customer that he will never have to face again. Not a very good Christian attitude to have.
Shakes were poor. Much better down the highway at the other big huckleberry place.
It was a nice !little gift shop/cafe. Friendly Service and everybody enjoyed the food. My wife bought some huckleberry jam and syrup which was very good. Since we've moved to Wyoming 23 years ago we don't get huckleberry products like we did when we lived in Montana. Used to visit Glacier National Park 3 times a year and the second trip was always when the huckleberries and cherries were abundant.
They are not being socially responsible. They have samples out for people in a self serve situation, and are encouraging people to try things, with no effort to sanitize between samples. I ordered the shake because of all the great reviews and was told to take an unwrapped straw from a self serve container. I will not go back. Better service next door at Huckleberry Patch. Oh , and we also got a piece of pie... it's supposed to be award winning... not good, undercooked crust , ok filling... very disappointing.
Fun little shop. Great I've cream and pie. Allot cheaper than other shops in the park.
This is a fun shop which sells HUCKLEBERRIES! They really let you know that by all the signs leading up to it on the road. Decent HUCKLEBERRY shakes, licorice and assorted souvenirs. Don't get the licorice in bulk it's much cheaper in the bag.
Great prices! Great selection of cute stuff! Friendly staff:)
Who didn't look like anything special just stopped in to see what it was
The pie was great! Everything else on the menu was not great! We are in the middle of a pandemic and they are taking no precautions! Self serve bulk candy everywhere. Employees handling food with ungloved hands! I think they are totally aware of the problems! They just don't seem to care!
The huckleberry shake was pretty good, though too sweet for my taste. Don't go for the chocolate huckleberry shake. They just first fill half with huckleberry then half with chocolate. It's not a mixture. Friendly staff!
The huckleberry milkshakes are awesome!
Wonderful huckleberry pie and shakes. Love the purple tables and chairs in the restaurant. Really love the decor of the whole business. Great selection in the gift shop.
Burger was thin and burnt. Like a black pancake. Fries were not even cooked! Soggy! The grease leaked through the container. And they are not following Phase 2 covid restrictions. Self serve candy bar... samples.... condiment bottles on table... not being cleaned in between guests.
My husband had the huckleberry pie....it said it was amazing!!
Good place for souvenirs. Good selection of huckleberry products. Not a good place to eat. We waited for about 30 minutes for burnt bison burgers. Totally not worth the money we paid for lunch and the kids refuse to eat their burgers.
I can't quite give them 5 stars when they're very obviously selling candy they bought from Costco (they do have some of their own things, too), and advertising that the soup of the day is Dinty Moore (I give them credit for honesty, though). However, that hamburger was one of the best I've had in a very long time, and I'd get it again. The toppings were hastily cut, and thrown on the plate, but they tasted basically the same. We actually meant to go to the place down the street (it seems this place is something of a copycat, but it could be the other way around). I don't know if it is any better or not, but I don't regret ending up here on accident.
Good food, goofy atmosphere, odd playlist....and this..
The staff and gift shop is nice! Also, the burgers are great and the pie is HANDS DOWN AWESOME!
We stopped to try some huckleberry ice cream and were pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. Also picked up some huckleberry jam which also is quite good. Store has a decent assortment of tourist items and the one staff member working on the store side was helpful.
Delicious huckleberry shake! I've had the pie before and it is fabulous! Will have to try a burger someday.
Lived in Montana for years and this is the first time that I have come here. I came with my brothers. The guy that rang us out. Had no customer service skills whatsoever. Was rude and then he didn’t give my brothers their shakes and then accused them of trying to get free ones. Then didn’t even give the correct food and drinks. Worst service ever. Never coming back again.
Place was dirty and completely unprofessional. They forgot our pie and food was poor quality.
Great place to eat, the Huckleberry pie is phenomenal!!
Fun place with rustic charm. Delicious huckleberry shake. I would have liked more fries to be included in the "large" order.
I ordered the huckleberry milkshake. There were a few huckleberries mixed into it, but it definitely tasted like an artificial flavor was added in. I’ve made homemade ice cream with huckleberries I picked myself, so I know what a homemade huckleberry milkshake ought to taste like. The large shake was about $4 and came quickly, right out of a soft serve dispenser, so 2/5 stars are awarded.
Delicious huckleberry shakes and super nice people! We were glad they were open in the winter. Thank you!
After entering a dirty and “not in COVID compliance” restaurant we waited about 20 minutes for some elk and buffalo burgers and when they came out they had cheese on them which was not specified when we ordered them. We pointed out we can’t eat them with cheese and the rude manager nearly blew up when we told him we didn’t want cheese on them. Upon forcefully giving us our money back after refusing to redo the order he messed up he threw the money at us like a petty child. I give this place a 1 for health, a 1 for service, and a 5 for how badly I feel for the employees who have to work for this sorry excuse for a manager.
It gives me no pleasure leaving negative reviews, the store was clean and the staff was friendly but the food........my hamburger was the worst I can remember, totally tasteless, thin, overly processed hockey puck. The other person with me had a buffalo burger, not cooked medium but rather medium raw.
Great location, not much selection in food, but Huckleberry shakes and pie are outstanding! Also has gift shop of Montana paraphernalia that is available at most Montana stores.
I really liked this place. We visited it because my wife likes Huckleberry jam and I wanted to buy some for her. They have free samples of the jam and other Huckleberry products a and I ended up getting her jam, syrup, and BBQ sauce. We also had pie and a shake. They were yummy. It was touristy, but not cheesy and felt like a family operation by people who care. They have a small restaurant with breakfast at reasonable prices. We didn't try it because we had already eaten.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Great place to get you Huckleberry fix!!! Souvenirs everywhere great desserts and the Huckleberry ice cream was fantastic.
Fantastic huckleberry pie & huckleberry shakes. Yum, yum, yum. Definitely going back for seconds. Kind servers. Thank you. Great experience!
imma get corona from this place, food was gross and place was even more gross
So much fun, they have the cheapest tee shirts around for souvenirs. They also have a bunch of different huckleberry treats. I did not try any of the food on the restaurant side, but I did get a free milkshake for spending more than $80 and it was so good.
Come for the huckleberry pie alamode, but not much else. The burgers were standard tourist trap food and they have a self service candy bar without any Covid precautions.
A great place with lots of stuff. Got some tee shirts and amazing pie for my girlfriend and I.
